Kira, Mushroom hunter!Lori Crowell says of her rescue dog Kira, “Australian Cattle Dogs live life hard and fast, and even at 14, Kira never wanted to slow down.” But Kira’s sore back, shoulders and hips were affecting her activity. Crowell says of Kira’s experience at Black Dog Rehab (BDR), “I could go on and on about how awesome Darcy and everyone at BDR is. Kira loved coming to see Darcy so much, she'd prance into the office. After receiving massage, cold laser and dry needle treatments, Kira was able to run, jump, play fetch, go for walks and swim like she did 10 years ago!" Kira in Winter

Crowell says Kira’s response to treatment at BDR was, “Nothing short of miraculous!” and thanks BDR, “You are amazing! You gave Kira the best year of her life. She ran and jumped and was a spunky puppy all over again! Thank you so much!! I'm so grateful to Darcy and BDR. Kira deserved to be treated like a princess all her life, and Darcy gave her that for the last 10 months of her life. Kira crossed over the rainbow bridge in July, and I'm so happy she got to have Darcy in her life!!” Rest in Peace, Kira, the Black Dog Rehab staff was happy to know and help you and you are missed.
