Honoring Bridger

BridgerAmy Vigil writes this commemoration, "When you have Bernese Mountain Dogs, you are lucky if they live to be nine years old. I was very blessed with my boy, Bridger, who lived to be 13 years old. The last two years of his life he exhibited many "old dog" symptoms and after falling on the ice he began having more serious problems.

He had issues with the lower spine and when I took him in to the vet, he was given meds to make him comfortable and had laser therapy. It was recommended that I see Darcy at Black Dog Rebab. Despite the difficulty of transferring a large dog, I was glad I took him to BDR. Darcy and her staff are wonderful; the therapies Darcy did with Bridger helped and made it easier to use a harness to transfer him and helped him to be comfortable and enjoy his last stage in life.

I loved the care that Darcy and her staff give to their clients. Working with animals is not always easy, especially treatments like dry needling and laser therapy. Bridger loved going to see Darcy and didn't mind his treatments, he knew that she has the love and care to make him feel better."

RIP Bridger, you were dearly loved.
